Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010Check it: The old Felpausch on Park St. and Ransom is set to reopen Thursday morning at 10 a.m. The rebirth comes with a renaming: The Kalamazoo Market Park Street Market.
The old store closed last year ostensibly due to the economic downturn. It was and will be the only grocery store on the Northside. Downtown sugar-monger Confection unveiled this monstrosity Monday morning.
This horror of modern pastry-making weighed in at around 300 pounds and was about five feet high.
I just hope nobody invited a torch singer. That could’ve been disastrous.
